Hyper is proud to announce that we now have Australian pro rider Brandon Loupos riding for us. Brandon recently won the entire Gatorade Free Flow Tour. He more recently won the Newton's Nation dirt competition in Australia. We expect big things out of this kid.
Hyper just went down to the Transjam bmx contest in Charlotte, South Carolina. We took pro team riders Baby Keith Schmidt and Mike Fede along with a good portion of the flow team including Jordan Prince, Cory Berglar, Frankie Day, Chris Przywara, Kyle Biller, Shane Goldsmid, and Clay Goldsmid. We also brought along pro scooter rider Ryan Upchurch to film the whole trip. In the expert class Shane Goldsmid did big gaps and a flip tuck as his banger. Clay Goldsmid did a backflip turndown. Cj Caroll did some really big tricks that put him in third place. Chris Przywara did a massive 180 over the box landing him in second place. But in the end Frankie Day came out on top with a double whip over the box and a truck over the spine. Then came the pro contest. Kyle Biller was the first to drop in with some really smooth lines and big 360 style tricks. Then Baby Keith didnt relax for a second and dropped right in with a 720 bar, super flip, but messed up with a frontie over the spine. Cory Berglar then killed it with a super park style. Jordan Prince did a massive 720 over the box. Finally Mike Fede rode and unfortunately started off his run with a massive gap to his but. Then came the second and third run which contained a best trick. Kyle Biller did a massive cannon ball to super man with style and full stretch. Baby Keith somehow did a superman seatgrab drop in that was just insane!!!!! Cory Berglar did a massive flair gap. Then the winner of the stunt of the day was Mike Fede with a roof drop into the landing of the box jump!!!! In the end Cory Berglar came out with 5th place. Baby Keith won this Transjam stop!!!! Last weekend the Hyper Team got a chance to go down to Protown USA in Greenville, North Carolina for the Transjam BMX contest. Nitro Circus star, JIm Dechamp, came along with us. Keith Schmidt ended up getting the best crash award. Pro team rider Mike Fede got third in the pro event. Flow team rider Clay Goldsmid got second in the am event. Also team riders Jordan Prince, Stephen Weiler, and Shane Goldsmid came along and brought out some amazing riding.

100 Hours in Europe w/ Mike Spinner (from www.vitalbmx.com)
If you've ever flown from the United States to Europe, you know it's a pretty painful flight. Throw in some layovers and a big time change, and it'll take the average person at least 100 hours to get on schedule. Mike Spinner didn't have that much time to prepare - as a matter of fact, he didn't have any time at all. Spinner spent 100 hours in Europe all together and still managed to see some historical sites, ride some demos, and party into the early hours of the morning. Here's his story from the trip:
A couple of weeks ago I got invited to take a trip to Budapest, Hungary for a few days to do a few demos for Monster. It was the most packed 100 hours ever!
